It’s officially awards season, which means we get to see some of our favorite stars strut their stuff across the red carpets of multiple ceremonies in the most incredible dresses that make our hearts flutter in delight! The most recent show we followed our favorite stars to was the 2019 Screen Actors Guild Awards, and the red carpet looks are better than ever! The red carpet looks have been so amazing this year that we absolutely can’t wait for the night of all nights- the Oscars!
So while we wait for the end of February to gift us with all of the breathtaking red carpet dresses that the Oscars will bring, let’s dive into some of our favorite looks from the SAG Awards! We’ve even paired our favorite looks with dresses you can buy that are inspired by them, so you can steal the style of your favorite stars! All of these dresses can be purchased on the Regiss website! Click on the dresses you’re interested in to learn more information. Check out our picks below:
Margot Robbie in Chanel
Margot Robbie looked so sleek and chic in this fitted, white dress with gold accents throughout. We chose two dresses for this one that both are inspired by different aspects of Robbie’s gown- one with the gold, embellished bodice and one with the sleek, fitted silhouette that we love. This dress would look amazing paired with some luxe, gold jewelry and some neutral makeup like Robbie’s- she looks radiant!
Emily Blunt in Michael Kors
Emily Blunt’s vibrant, pink dress is just so much fun! The structured shoulder details make this dress look like a work of art. Our pick for prom features a similar, adorable pink color and some funky, ruffled shoulders that emulate Blunt’s gown in a tamer way. Pair with some pink accessories to really play up the Barbie vibes!
Lady Gaga in Dior Haute Couture
Lady Gaga looked absolutely incredible in her flowing, white dress that gave us major Marilyn Monroe vibes with that thigh-high leg slit and deep-V neckline. Our choice of gown keeps that classic flowing silhouette and dazzling white shade that will look so luxurious at any event! Paired with some diamond(esque) jewelry and sparkly heels, you’ll be ready for any prom or party!
Constance Wu in Oscar de la Renta
Constance Wu looked absolutely gorgeous in a glittering, fitted, strapless gown with a leg slit (which is totally in style!), proving that you don’t need a super over-the-top dress to totally win the red carpet! Our dress choice emulates the same simple glamour with all-over gold glitter, a strapless neckline and a leg slit! For prom, you can style your hair into some classic waves and don some red lipstick for a truly classic red carpet look!
Rachel Brosnahan in Dior Haute Couture
Rachel Brosnahan certainly gave us some super dreamy vibes in her pale blue, lacy dress! The belted bodice is just so flattering! While our choice of formal gown doesn’t have a strapless neckline, we still have the same sort of dreamy blue with floral details- perfect for any girl that wants to look like an absolute princess at prom!
Catherine Zeta-Jones in Zuhair Murad
Catherine Zeta-Jones emanates so much beauty, glamour and grace in top-to-bottom sequins and gorgeous, lace sleeves. While our choice of dress for prom doesn’t look exactly the same, it’s definitely inspired by the all-over shimmer and lace sleeve details, while adding a totally trendy two-piece silhouette and one-shoulder neckline, which is a huge trend this season! With a pair of nude heels, this dress would look amazing at any prom or pageant!
